Tarek Fathelbab is the outreach manager for Bredin Centre for Learning. Tarek has worked in variety of roles with non-profits in Edmonton, he worked as a facilitator, community development coordinator, settlement counsellor and Finally outreach manager. He also has created a project to help newcomer artists to showcase their talent and has been actively involved in welcoming Syrian refugees and helping them settling in Edmonton.

Jason Cummings comes to work motivated to make a positive difference in the lives of the people. With over 20 years’ experience, Jason is a recognized expert in health and travel insurance who has been interviewed for CBC’s The National, CBC News Vancouver, and CBC Radio and he can be found presenting live and online workshops about Canada’s healthcare system and private health insurance. As DCIS Insurance Services celebrates 30 years in business, Jason leads the team of agents and associates with the vision of relentlessly championing duty of care, good faith, and the dignity of each person across all relationships.
Peter Paul - Humber College
Peter Paul is the Manager of Immigrant Programs and Services at Humber College. In this role, he oversees four bridging programs and two language programs for internationally-trained professionals, among other learning initiatives aimed at newcomers to Canada. Prior to joining Humber, Peter was the Project Leader of ALLIES at the Maytree Foundation and led a pan-Canadian initiative to establish and scale-up immigrant employment councils and programs for newcomers in multiple cities across Canada.
Sally Phung - MOSAIC
Sally is the Volunteer Resources Coordinator at MOSAIC and has been working with immigrants and refugees in various capacities for over 12 years. She is passionate about helping newcomers build a new life in Canada and achieve their full potentials
Marie Gervais, PhD., CSTD, CEO, Shift Management
Her company focuses on using online courses, web coaching and blended learning programs to help newcomers build careers in Canada and equip industry to build talent. Marie recently created the Multilingual Video Stack library for Canadian immigrant serving organizations and employers of diverse workforces.
Sonya von Heyking CPA, CA, CIA - University of Lethbridge
Sonya is the Director, CPA Bridging Program and an Accounting Instructor in the Faculty of Management at the University of Lethbridge. She is recognized in Canada for her professional success, and is actively engaged with the professional practice of accounting in Alberta. In September 2017, Sonya was elected to the CPA Alberta Board.
