One of the the first things that newcomers have to do when coming to Canada is find work.  A lot of immigrants coming to Ontario looking for employment are unsure of exactly what to do next.  Even if they want to continue a career in their chosen field, it can be difficult to know where to start.A great option for a lot of newcomers is the skilled trades sector.  This is available to those with lots of work experience, a little bit, or no experience at all. Skilled trades are “hands-on”, manual jobs in a wide variety of industry sectors.  If you are looking for employment in Ontario, then there are more than 150 trades that you could be an ideal fit for.  These trades can be grouped together into four main skilled trade categories:
