LUSO Community Services is a neighbourhood resource centre in Northeast London, Ontario. LUSO was founded in 1979 and today we provide a variety of programs and services with a holistic approach to serving the community. LUSO's programs support children, youth, and their families of culturally diverse backgrounds. LUSO also offers settlement programs for newcomers of all immigration categories: Settlement counseling, library settlement program, settlement workers in schools, and community connections for youth, adults and families. Through these settlement programs, newcomers can have access to information, orientation and referrals on a range of topics and services, such as: finding housing, health care, employment, banking and government services, child care and recreational activities, networking opportunities, English language resources etc.
