Vancouver, British Columbia is one of the world's most beautiful cities and ranks third-highest quality of living globally. The Metro Vancouver Area has a population of 2,643,431 and offers a mild climate, cultural diversity, and an impressive natural setting.
Vancouver's housing market is the most expensive in Canada. So finding affordable housing can be challenging. However, some of the suburban cities located within the MVA are lower. Have a specific question about Vancouver's rental housing market? Visit the Rentals for Newcomers booth!
Employment Services Advisor, Mosaic
Settlement Online Pre-Arrival (SOPA) Program at MOSAIC. We provide a one-on-one orientation, job search support, employment counselling, and workplace culture training to permanent residents who have not arrived in Canada as yet. We help them prepare for arrival and can also provide referrals to other post-arrival services upon entry to Canada.
My focus is on fostering connections and collaboration within the community. I am responsible for organizing events, facilitating communication, and empowering individuals to actively participate in MOSAIC initiatives that enhance the overall well-being of newcomers.
MOSAIC provides services to immigrants, refugees, and those from diverse backgrounds to help advance an inclusive and thriving Canada. Our staff and partners work together through employment, settlement, and language services to further the success and sense of belonging of newcomers and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
