Craig Jooste

Craig Jooste is an accomplished Entrepreneur and Senior Executive with more than 15 years of success in franchising multiple brands across the United States, Canada, and Australia. Craig was born in South Africa and immigrated to Canada in 1988 and has been married to his business partner Kristen for 21 years. They have a 6-year-old son named Charlie, who is the light of their life.

Craig has extensive experience across the facilities service and consumer services industries. His broad areas of expertise include franchising, franchise viability, brand development along with strategic planning, operations management, business development and, most importantly, business coaching.
 
Craig is the Co-Founder and CEO of Local Handyman Group, where he developed the model, brand, and franchising systems to take a local handyman brand with one location *604Handyman, to currently four operating brands and numerous locations in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Ontario. Year over year revenue has increased 350% annually since 2017. The Local Handyman Group is a home repair and handyman services franchise that supports their Franchise Partners with robust operational systems and marketing plans that create an effective springboard to their Franchise Partner’s short and long-term success with a strong B to C and B to B model. Craig brings two decades of business coaching to support Franchise Partners at all levels of their business continually. We are the “honey-do” list problem solvers. Our niche market is focusing on the jobs required by homeowners, businesses, retail, restaurant and building maintenance companies, to name a few.
 
Local Handyman Group is currently franchising the 604Handyman, 306Handyman, 780Handyman, 403Handyman, 519Handyman, 204Handyman, 250Handyman and 905Handyman concepts across Canada. Craig studied at the UBC Sauder School of Business.
